Who is Convergence 3D for?
Convergence 3D is for anyone who wants to showcase their product in an interactive 3D viewer. It is tailored to display industrial products and the automatic processing of your 3D data in combination with the material library makes it easy to showcase photorealistic 3D models.
Do I need to code to integrate the 3D viewer?
We provide one line of code that represent an iFrame. Easily exchange an existing image with the 3D viewer.
Who is creating the 3D models and visualizations?
You provide the original CAD models and we create optimized data for the online 3D viewer. We can delete confidential and IP related features so that only the necessary features in a mockup model are visible.
What happens during on-boarding?
We analyze your product data and help you integrate the 3D viewer on your website either with your in-house IT department or your IT agency.
Will my page slow down due to the 3D viewer?
No, the 3D viewer is optimized for fast loading and you have the option to only load the 3D model once the user clicks on the play button. We reduce the file size of the 3D models as much as possible to limit the amount of data the user has to load. The viewer is also optimized for mobile devices.
Do I have to bring my own material textures?
We provide a rich library of common materials and surface conditions to make the visualization as photorealistic as possible. If there is a material missing, we can add it to the library.
Do I get an insight on the usage of the 3D viewer?
Yes, you can review the number of views at any time in the dashboard and analytics page. If the monthly views exceed the quota based on your plan, we invoice the excess monthly.
Can I also configure my product and display different configurations?
This is planned in our roadmap and will be available soon. Talk to us to get early access.
Is there a self-service portal to manage the 3D visualizations?
After the onboarding process, you have access to all configuration option thorough the interactive editor. You can change and publish the models as you like.
